Ingredients You’ll Need:
1 Elderberry Syrup Kit
4 cups of water
1 to 1.5 cups of honey (or 0.5 cups for lower sugar content)

Directions:

  1. Add Water & Ingredients – Pour 4 cups of water into a pot and add the contents of your elderberry syrup kit.

  2. Simmer & Reduce – Bring to a low boil, then reduce the heat to a simmer. Stir occasionally and simmer for 30-45 minutes until the liquid reduces by half. Leave the pot uncovered during this step.

  3. Strain – Remove from heat and strain the mixture using a fine-mesh strainer or cheesecloth into a clean bowl or glass jar.

  4. Add Honey – Allow the mixture to cool slightly (about 10-15 minutes), then add 1 to 1.5 cups of honey. Stir well until fully dissolved.

  5. Bottle & Store – Pour the syrup into a glass jar or bottle and let it cool to room temperature before placing it in the refrigerator.

Storage: Refrigerate and use within 2-3 months. Shake gently before each use.
